Subclasses and Noblesse are two of the biggest progression milestones in classic Lineage 2. Getting them opens the Olympiad, hero status and powerful buffs.
Subclasses
- Once your main is high enough, you can add up to three subclasses — extra classes on the same character.
- Subs start at level 40 and level independently; switch at a Class Master / village NPC.
- Use subs for utility (a buffer sub, a farming sub) or to prepare for Noblesse.
Noblesse status
- You must level a subclass to 75+, then complete the Noblesse quest chain.
- The classic quest sends you to gather Caradine's Letter and defeat a level-appropriate raid (e.g., Barakiel) — steps vary by chronicle/server.
- Noblesse grants the Noblesse Blessing buff (keeps buffs through death) and unlocks the Grand Olympiad.
Why bother
No Noblesse = no Olympiad = no hero. It is the gateway to end-game PvP. See the Olympiad-focused Gladiator guide for what comes next.
