[Guide] Protect Your Server From L2J Attacker

I know ,its nothing special ,but guess what.. it works!

Set it up as usual ,nothing special ,working like a firewall.
Sooo.. Lets explain how this "attacker" works:
Its so simple.. Flooding the IP:PORT to the machine ,and cuz of the 1ms speed per attack ,it gets laggy.
So ,what this firewall does?
Simple.. Blocking the flood of more than 1 request per second..

WARNING : This MAY effect your login server! If 2 players click the Login button at the same time ,nothing will happen.But its not to worry about ,they just have to click it again Cheesy

So simple tool blocks that ,for such pahxahx i dont know how im saying this but.. "big" tool Cheesy

if u know how to config. it maybe its useful , i didnt succeed all i get is a protected PC and Server, but no player can log on it. so..

yes, but the is more than 1000 programs which do the same. the problem is that if you use firewall no one can log in on the server because firewall block them us attackers... I know that there is a way to fix it so other people can log in but i don't know how. If anyone know just reply

IMO if you have your server hosted on a dedicated server noone can lag/kill your server with attacker
its simple 1mbit upload home pc speed VS dedi server = DEDI WINS
and ofcs dedi provide you more protection
if you having problems with home pc you can easy stop attackers manual by banning their ips but this is not a sollution at all :/
